Following a successful career in fashion design,in 1990 he decided to apply his eclectic creativity to the field of interior design, which had until then been only a hobby, starting the “Designers Associati” company, where he assembled a work team made up of young architects and interior designers from Italy and abroad. This group gene-rated a movement in which “luxury” came to be seen in terms of basic forms, easily recognisable expressions of a comprehensive, unifying style, involving the interdisciplinary approach applied in home design projects. The new company imme-diately began collaborating with leading compa-nies in the world of design, names like “Zani & Zani”, “Richard-Ginori”, “Sabbatini”, “Living” and “Artecuoio”. Here as well, the firm was successful, gaining international recognition. Its projects were acclaimed for their uncompromising discipline, expressed in revolutionary, innovative objects, sold in the most exclusive stores all over the world. The company won the “Lumiere d’Or 1988” prize at the international fair in Paris, for the “Maria” lamp, realised for the Via Bizzuno firm, confirming the quality and expressive vitality of their work, which has recently also been directed toward interior design projects, including a theatre and a public space. The meeting with the Ascot Ceramiche Company has led to a very successful collaboration, resul-ting in the QUBO project, a multimedial display piece that is revolutionary for its extreme simpli-city, along with the design of new products and the creation of interiors in terms of a totally new approach that strives to reinvest ceramic tiles with their original identity and meaning, rendering them the protagonist of a new art.
